We analyzed the books that were ordered the most frequently by TLS visitors who clicked on our Amazon.com affiliate links in 2013 and used that information to generate the following lists of popular books for LSAT prep, law school admissions, 0L/1L general prep, subject-specific prep, and law practice/research/writing. The table below is a summary of the top 5 books in each category with links to view all of the top books in each category.

TLS Law School Book Ranking Methodology

We started from a spreadsheet that listed the total number of times a book's ASIN was ordered through our Amazon.com affiliate links in 2013. We removed all books that were ordered less than three times, and also removed all books that didn't fit into at least one of our five law school book categories. Orders of multiple editions of the same book were combined into the latest edition of the book. We then sorted the books in each category so the most frequently-ordered books are on top.
