Meh, it's cool. It's not easy moving a score that much though.

Tell me about it! Last go 'round I was pt'ing 160-163 so 158 was in my score band but I was just disappointed I didn't break 160. If I can still stay in my score band this time I should be good. I also didn't start studying until 6 wks out last time. I've been at it now for months.

If you got a 158, what in the world makes you think that you are going to get a 165-170? You already panicked. Why would you ask these questions if you have a history of scoring below performance and do not have the June score left? It seems like the better option would be to come back when you get a score above 158.

In all honesty, +1. I offered some insight, but these hypothetical LSAT posts are starting to pile up.

Haha! Thanks. I think I also did a bad job w/ this title. I totally did not mean for it to be a t14 focus. Just want schools thrown out there to look into. Oh well...my one hypothetical was an epic fail.

Nah, it was win - you got your answer...you need 172ish to be competitive.

To have a realistic shot at NU or Georgetown, you're going to need a 171+.

Lots of non-URMs have gotten into Northwestern with an ED 170+/sub-3.0 and work experience. I would think you could maybe get upper-160s and get in ED as a URM, but I'm not sure.

If you get a good LSAT, look towards splitter-friendly T1 schools like WUSTL, GW, Minnesota, UIUC, as they may give you some money.
