Checking in. I voted that I would pay sticker. I guess my stats are just lower than all of yours.

Checking in! I'm 99% thinking Cornell's program looks great (and I love Ithaca) and 1% concerned about non-urban environment for Summer opportunities (I have a spouse and a kid I'd have to either leave or schlep with me).

What happens if literally no one influenced me to apply to Cornell? I write just that in the 1000 characters space at point 9 of the application?

Checking in, hoping they're okay with my GPA.
Can't wait to visit campus because I hear it's beautiful.
EDIT: looking at the LSN graph--seems like they YP mid-high 170s? Or is that an optical illusion?

Checking in. 3.36/176, any chance of a solicited fee waiver?

^ I don't know, I can't really understand how they are managing this matter... I got waivers from UPenn, UVA, Mich, Duke, Northwestern and everything from GULC/UCLA down but still nothing from them.
Still, it is known that the fee waivers process depends heavily on the LSAT score, thus I would surely ask them for one with a 176!

Re: Cornell Applicants Class of 2021 (2017-2018)
So is the 1000 character "Why are you applying to Cornell" response sufficient for a "Why Cornell?" Or are people writing another, somewhat longer Why Cornell on top of that?

Re: Cornell Applicants Class of 2021 (2017-2018)
I've been wondering about this too... I haven't written a Why Cornell yet because I'm wondering if they made the 1000 character question to stop too many people from submitting long Why Cornell statements. But at the same time, Cornell is one of my top choices so I don't want to risk not writing one and seeming as though I do not care.#gobroncos wrote:So is the 1000 character "Why are you applying to Cornell" response sufficient for a "Why Cornell?" Re: Cornell Applicants Class of 2021 (2017-2018)
I think it suffices. I'm not writing one, mainly because it would read too much like "Here's the exact things I said in my 1000 character essay, just fleshed out more." I don't want to be repetitive.#gobroncos wrote:So is the 1000 character "Why are you applying to Cornell" response sufficient for a "Why Cornell?"
