Have any ED people gotten merit money?
I realize it's a super long-shot for me, but I've heard of them offering at least a little merit-based aid to ED people in the past. Just wondering if they have/will this year.
Hope springs eternal, right?
FWIW: ED Round 1 acceptance.
LSAT < 50%
GPA > 75%

There are 230+ people in Penn 2020 FB group already
And class of 2019 is about 240+ students
Not sure how many people in FB group will actually attend, but it looks like the chance for off wl will be super small

Well they average a yield somewhere between 22-24% so they will likely make a few waitlist offers. Coupled with Spivey's prediction that it'll be a wild waitlist summer, this gives me a small glimmer of hope.yingcaca wrote:There are 230+ people in Penn 2020 FB group already

The FB groups from 2019 and 2018 each have 500+ members. Do with that what you willyingcaca wrote:There are 230+ people in Penn 2020 FB group already

Copy from the Penn WL thread: Nearly everyone on LSN this cycle with my GPA and LSAT range seem to on Penn's WL (whereas acceptance rates are much higher with the same GPA and a lower LSAT). The YP is insanely strong in this one.

The groups are that large because current students join during the summer to sell textbooks, furniture, etc.hbdash wrote:The FB groups from 2019 and 2018 each have 500+ members. Do with that what you willyingcaca wrote:There are 230+ people in Penn 2020 FB group already

I haven't heard of the prediction before, but that's a good sign.SybillAnnDorsett wrote:Well they average a yield somewhere between 22-24% so they will likely make a few waitlist offers. Oh, sorry, I confused Penn's with Chicago's... My Penn status says "Under Committee Review" as of 3/29! But I guess this is UR1, since I didn't notice any movement before ...HonestlyThough wrote:It doesn't say that you're under review by committee?intlbr wrote:Mine says "Complete" since 3/13...HonestlyThough wrote:yup, 3/13seeprybyrun wrote:Still UR2 since 3/13. Waitlisted via email. Timestamp 5:19 EST. Not surprised but also not stoked.
Went complete 2/11, last UR movement was 4/5. 168 LSAT, 3.78 GPA, URM.
