The instructions for the optional essays says to "title the essay appropriately".
Does that mean to indicate which of their topics you are addressing, or that you are free to come up with whatever title you deem fit?

I would probably go with indicating which topic you are addressing. Gives them an opportunity to know what they are about to read without having to guess as they read through it.

Yeah, I titled mine "Diversity Statement" and "Why Penn" in the header along with my name and LSAC number. I think that's what they were going for!

Lol I have no idea if it's TLS slang since I'm relatively new to this forum, but I just titled mine "Why Penn" (and the same format for my other Why essays) since I knew of no other way to title the essay... I just wanted the adcomms to know what essay they were reading since I had a total of 3.

2013-2014: 12/19/13

So probably 3-4 weeks from now.

I may be wrong but didn't the UCRs come out 11/30 last year? If so I'm wondering if the 11/21 UCRs this year means earlier RD admits like 12/5. Thanksgiving may push it to three weeks like you said ~12/12
