I kinda think held is worse than waitlisted.

My therapist is a professor at Northwestern and his office is right next to the law school. Very convenient because walking by the law school gives me the feels and then I go talk to my therapist!

What exactly is "alting?" Btw I'm inclined to believe what Guyver says he's been pretty accurate so far. Sucks if it's true that all helds are being skipped over.

So we really do have mindless trolls who like to create alt accounts on a law forum just to troll. You will make a very fine lawyer yourself. My take is that you're one of the denied applicants.

Good luck impersonating me if it gets you anywhere.

P.s. copying my avatar doesn't match the name https://youtu.be/NglxKRST81c really.

It looks like they are targeting held/WL people with high GPA!

I like the sound of that, although I haven't heard anything yet.

For people that have heard (whether waitlisted or held) - did the decision portal/status checker come into play at all or can we expect it to be all email communications from here on out?

got a reply back from them recently

"...They do not anticipate making any more offers prior to June 1st but will continue to monitor the class. As always, movement at our peer schools may have an impact on us."

lol the Hold FAQ states that there are still openings in the class. they tout that explicitly as the difference between Hold and Waitlist. so there goes that eh. Also, I was told I would hear back before June 1st. Before that, I was told I would hear back sometime last week.

just floored by the way this process has been handled.

A very small wave have been admitted and will be mailed by June 22/23, unfortunately many others were denied - keep your eyes on that date. Yes NW admit students and keep them in the shadow till they mail the decision out.

This will be my last update.

Would you mind explaining why this is the case? Why not just send the admit emails once candidates have been admitted?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
