Hello, and welcome to the Harvard Waitlist 2017 thread!
Some of you have already been waiting many months, so I'm sorry if your presence here means even more waiting. I definitely sympathize.

WL ACTION:
First WL JS1s reported May 6th.
First JS1bs reported May 13th
First JS2s reported May 15th (went to both those with JS1bs on the 13th and those with post-WL JS1s)

How many of us are K-JDs? Spivey said that not having WE would be a much greater detriment this cycle and I can definitely see his point.

personally have ~3 years of W/E, but i'm sure there are a number of KJDs who will be joining us ITT

Definitely seems to me like being a K-JD has been more of a detriment at HLS this cycle. A current HLS student attended an event in which Dean Minow stated that they are trying to accept fewer applicants straight out of university, and the fact that they started the 2 year deferral program for Harvard undergrads is consistent with a focus on WE.
