I got Georgetown by mail without phone or e-mail (though I don't know what the status checker said since I Wasn't checking it).
Finding out via status checker is the norm for UMich apparently.

Every time I see a new e-mail in my inbox I get nervous because I assume it's a ding/WL from Harvard

I don't know if anything happens today, but if nothing happens, I doubt it's because of the snow day. It was just one day, and a lot of people still went to work throughout the city. It was bad, but it wasn't that bad

There's more salt than snow. We got less than an inch.

So
I submitted my application with my december score which is slightly above harvard median.
I have gpa just below harvard 75 % , but with fall semester's gpa I become above 75% with extra 0.02~0.03 boost.
Given this fact, would it be wise to update my fall grade once I get them all?
I am a little concerned because I have used Pass/Fail for one class ( I passed.)
Rest of the grades are A or A + so this would increase my gpa extra 0.03 overall, making it to be above 75%.
Would I send it now? or wait until I get decision and save them for potential waitlist and LOCI ?
Any suggestions?

Mort,
Your optimism and outlook is so contagious. I really hope we end up at the same school.

I'm going to be so disappointed when I find out that Mort isn't the man in his profile picture though!

Haha, he's definitely not-the actual "Mort the Tort" is
this guy.
eta: then again, apparently Morton Horwitz never actually got a JD-he has a PhD and LLB from Harvard, but not a JD. So who knows-maybe getting a JD is on his bucket list?

Wait is everyone here in consensus that a round of denials/rejections is coming before the next JS2 wave?

Wasn't an LLB the equivalent of a JD back in the day?

You just posted this same thing. Be patient, people will respond...
They will not care about the pass fail. I don't know that it matters, I would probably send them in now, because the HLS wait list is somewhat funky, and with your late app you may want the little extra boost. I can't imagine if you're above both 75ths that you wouldn't get in, assuming the rest of your app is okay.

There is no telling. You probably won't be in the next wave, but there's no telling how much longer after that you'll have to wait.

I don't see that it would help. Your numbers are strong enough that they wouldn't exclude you for having a GPA just under 75%. If you do decide to send it, though, just keep your note very short. Them peeps are busy.

Strictly speak, no. If it's going to be on your mind for a while, just go ahead and send in the update.
