In today via email, so I guess it's a mixed wave. GPA slightly under 75th, LSAT>75th

In today. No why essay or interview. Applied 12/28.
LSAT > 75, GPA < 25
Absolutely pumped. My top choice right now but I need some $$.

Status changed to "decision mailed" earlier this afternoon. Been checking email but still no sign of anything over the past few hours. Should I be expecting a ding? Are rejections emailed or mailed, if anyone knows?

Did you check your junk mail/promotions tab if you’re using gmail? I feel like you should have definitely gotten an email by now.bruiserwoods12 wrote:Status changed to "decision mailed" earlier this afternoon. Anyone who is feeling ghosted (so, like everyone) thinking about writing a Why Vandy?? Went complete 11/9, completed an interview w/ admissions two days later, and feel like I have pretty competitive stats (at least, LSN says so). I just need some app movement for gods sake!

FWIW, I was in the exact same situation two years ago and got a substantial scholarship. Hopefully you get the same treatment I did.Eleven wrote:In today. No why essay or interview. Applied 12/28.

I'm so confused bc a girl I went to undergrad with interviewed in Nov and got her decision within 6 days. Meanwhile people who submitted after us are getting WL'd & accepted. so much for "expedited process"?mistakepluskeleven wrote:SAME. The "expedited process" promise is complete bullshit and needs to be removed from the application next year. I submitted and interviewed in October and haven't heard a peep.nina2018 wrote:I'm so confused bc a girl I went to undergrad with interviewed in Nov and got her decision within 6 days. I’m dying over here. I don’t care if they reject me, I just want an answer at this point.

Have they started to reject people yet? I’m in the same boat. Went complete on 10/25, interviewed a week later. It’s been 12 weeks so I’ve come to terms that things aren’t looking great...I just want an answer.ShakeAndBake wrote:I’m dying over here. Are any of the folks who are feeling ghosted above the 75th of either GPA or LSAT? The trend seems to be accepting those and leaving the rest til admissions gets a better feel of the applicant pool. This isn't just at Vandy, but everywhere.
