Applied through EJW and the website. Rejected for EJW, but got an invite for a phone interview the following day.

Anyone who has applied to prettyman know if they prefer for you to send the LORs or for your recommenders to send them?

What's with BDS's purgatory letters? They say they find you impressive but they are reviewing all applications and will let you know if you're moving forward. Is this a rejection or do they actually move people forward?

I don't know about their *preference* but this is what they said when I asked how they should be submitted:
"Your letters of recommendations may be submitted in either of the ways you mentioned in your email. However, it may be faster to have the recommenders submit them individually either via email or through the postal service. And all transcripts must come directly from your school. I hope this information is helpful."

Thanks this was really helpful! My recs gave me my letters so I was just going to put it into one PDF, but wanted to make sure they're fine with me submitting and not them sending in separately

Re: Seattle
I had a first round with them about 3 weeks ago, haven't heard anything since then. I'm assuming I'm not getting a second round since they said they wanted to do second rounds and make final decisions by mid-November.

Does prettyman confirm your application is complete? Or acknowledge they received your supplemental materials?

I do not, and I'm fairly certain I'm getting one (worked there in the past and spoke to my supervisor about it). I think they are just not in a rush.

Longtime lurker, first-time poster.
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone with any insight or advice on the Skype interview with Colorado.

Has anyone who applied online heard back from Bronx Defenders? My online profile shows that they looked at my stuff on Oct. 31st, but I haven't heard anything.

They are now looking at mid December to make offers. Said they wanted to interview more candidates.
