Do big law firms ever recruit 12th year associates?
Do law firms that practice up or out ever recruit attorneys as associates with 12 (10+) years of experience?

My experience is "yes." I know of an associate hired from a competitor firm who had been there about 10 years. His experience is right on point for the practice group that hired him.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 12:15 amDo law firms that practice up or out ever recruit attorneys as associates with 12 (10+) years of experience?

Yes my prior firm (big law in nyc) added a 10+ year associate who became a partner a couple years later.
