I plan on retaking the lsat.
Goal:
To stop schools from looking at your app until they get the January score.
Research:
Per LSAC they will send it to schools automatically. Per powerscore, your CAS report indicates a future LSAT date, hoping the law schools see it and do not consider your application till then.
Question:
Given its admission season, you do not get timely responses from law schools. Short of writing to them or hunting for their policy, is there another way ?
PS: LSAC will release the scores to law schools. They do not need applicant permission.

Re: Retake and letting schools know
How do you plan on "letting schools know" you intend to retake the LSAT without, y'know, contacting them, which you say you don't want to do?
