Civil Procedure

Post by mw09990 » Mon Oct 02, 2023 11:32 am

Currently in my 1L year and am struggling with Civil Procedure. What are some good supplements and resources to figure out the material?

This E&E is good: https://www.amazon.com/Examples-Explana ... 13d670b6bc

But be forewarned that success in first-year exams is more targeted toward the professor than anything else. So, if I were you, I would look at outlines that others have prepared for civ pro with your specific professor and go from there.

This advice applies for all of your classes, but can you get hold of outlines from previous years? Your school or clubs/extracurriculars should have an outline bank somewhere. Those will give you a good bird's eye view of the class, and clue you into what the professor cares about. It's a good start.

Beyond that, I always found quimbee pretty helpful. I don't specifically recall how good it is for CivPro, but the case summaries for most subjects are solid, efficient, and give you the rule.
