Saw this a little late, but thanks for the input! I ended up going with business casual-ish. I thought the reception was a great way to mingle with prospective and current students.westcoast16 wrote:I'm definitely planning on dressing more on the casual side for both Thursday night and Friday - especially since they specified Thursday night as being informal. I've only ever been to one other ASD, but it was really casual (although more "nice jeans and cardigan" as opposed to "flip flops and shorts" kind of casual).gastronomy wrote:What's everyone planning to wear to Accepted Students' Day? Are we supposed to dress a bit more formal, rather than casual?

I'm curious about who my fellow anxiety-ridden over-achievers are, as well.

So who at this point is sort of coasting over the next months? It's about all I can do to even just feign interest in the job I have. I know it'll be a meat grinder in the fall, but at this point it feels preferable to the waiting.

I'm still not hearing any $ from UW
It's been weeks and I'm above their 75%
If I there's nothing till May 1, I'm withdrawing
There's no way I'm paying sticker at UW

From what I've heard it should come at some time this week. Nervously waiting is killing me.chooy wrote:I'm still not hearing any $ from UW

I just withdrew from UW and deposited at another school. This should free up some additional scholarship money. This was a very difficult decision, but I feel good about it (for now). Good luck to everyone still hoping for additional scholarship funding. Seattle and UW are both really special places.

Not sure if people are still around on this thread, but I have paid my deposit and I'm excited to attend!
Wondering if people have thoughts/leads on housing. I am coming from UT Austin, and here there are a lot of close apartments that are overrun with undergrads, where I don't think law students would like to live. Anyone coming from undergrad at UW or have any insight on that? I don't want to end up in a loud, fratty apartment complex.

Has anyone seen a c/o 2019 FB group created in the past few weeks? I did a quick search on FB and couldn't find one but wanted to ask in case I just missed it. Thanks!

Re: University of Washington c/o 2019
I am a recent UW grad and would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have.
I also have a set of E&E's that I am happy to give away (please be a matriculating student):
Property - 4th edition
Con Law - 6th edition
Contracts - 5th edition
Crim law - 5th edition
Civ Pro - 7th edition
Legal Writing - 1st edition
* I can hold them if you're not in town yet. Not a big deal.
