Last day of June- it's the end of the fiscal year which means I can cash out my sick leave and vacation for about as much as I would get paid to keep working until August. Otherwise, I'd lose a lot of it.

Hope your surgery goes well.
I'm looking to move in August but I applied online for an apartment owned by the university (they say they will get back to me within a month before my move in date)
Thanks! And yeah, I was thinking first week of August but I'm not sure when I should start apartment searching.

My contract runs until Aug. 15, so I'm going to be high-tailing it to orientation half way across the country.

That sounds stressful.
Work for a baseball team's marketing department, on the coast, so it's not too bad. Should we not make playoffs I could take off whenever.

Today is SO BORING. I don't feel like doing anything at work. Can I just quit today? I've planned, and somewhat hinted to co-workers, to put my two weeks in June 19th, with my last day being July 3rd... but damn I am bored.

ETA: Just realized we have July 3rd off as a holiday. YASSSSSS

Finally decided... last day is May 19 and I'm taking the 11th and 12th off. Workitis has set in.

May 15! But it does appear likely they will stop paying me once I stop working there.
