Re: When are you quitting your full-time job for school?
Last day of June- it's the end of the fiscal year which means I can cash out my sick leave and vacation for about as much as I would get paid to keep working until August. Otherwise, I'd lose a lot of it.

Thanks! And yeah, I was thinking first week of August but I'm not sure when I should start apartment searching.fisheatbananas wrote:Hope your surgery goes well.pancakes wrote:Beginning of May... but only because I have to get surgery done and need time recover before school. When are most people looking to move?
I'm looking to move in August but I applied online for an apartment owned by the university (they say they will get back to me within a month before my move in date)

My contract runs until Aug. 15, so I'm going to be high-tailing it to orientation half way across the country.

Work for a baseball team's marketing department, on the coast, so it's not too bad. Should we not make playoffs I could take off whenever.mwonka wrote:That sounds stressful.Dream_weaver32 wrote:My contract runs until Aug. 15, so I'm going to be high-tailing it to orientation half way across the country.

Today is SO BORING. I don't feel like doing anything at work. Can I just quit today? I've planned, and somewhat hinted to co-workers, to put my two weeks in June 19th, with my last day being July 3rd... but damn I am bored.
ETA: Just realized we have July 3rd off as a holiday. YASSSSSS

May 15! But it does appear likely they will stop paying me once I stop working there.
