Not sure if this posted - can you tell me when you applied and how long it took to get a screener?

Kramer Levin DC was interviewing back in December and has already given out post-interview offers and rejections. Not sure if they've fully completed the hiring process yet, though.

Based on the stream of L's I've been taking from my applications to both biglaw and boutique firms, I'm not so sure clerking was the great career move I thought it would be.
This sucks.

Any updates from Quinn?
Applied to NYC and DC. DC said they’re reviewing applications now but no response on mine. SDNY/EDNY/DNJ clerkship.

Please do not feel discouraged. I have felt the same way, particularly as I am trying to break into the NY market and have not had the best of luck post-clerkship. It is either that I have gotten callbacks and then ghosted or offers from smaller firms who will not recognize the clerkship. In short, stay encouraged and consider a recruiter to help you along the way. Something will turn up! All the best :)

ATL posted an article today noting that Cravath's clerkship bonus is now $125k.

For my peers going to V20s - did you get this as an offer? At my v20 I got $50 opening offer (one clerkship) and they raised to $100 when I pointed to my offer from a firm with a higher bonus. I would be very displeased if my firm was giving this out.

What is the board's view on going back for the $125k bonus ask? I have zero leverage - I accepted my offer there and told the other firms I interviewed with that I was going elsewhere. But I would be pissed to leave $25k on the floor if it was on offer.

I'm in almost the exact same position. My hope is that if firms do end up raising the bonus in line with Cravath, they would raise it for everyone, including those that already accepted? That sounds the most fair. . .

Any bankruptcy clerks seeing movement? Current bankruptcy clerk in SDNY/DE looking in non-NY/TX/DE market for jobs. Essentially have gotten no looks.

No movement either only applying in one major market where I'm not clerking. I heard of movement in NY but I'm not applying there

Does anyone have information about the state of the market in D.C.? I’m hearing that some firms are already done hiring.

For those of you with offers, has anyone gotten their non Cravath big law firm to match Cravath?

Haven’t seen any movement other than rejections in LA. I’ve heard Jenner & Block did some interviews but that’s all I’ve heard of
