Writing Sample For Firms - Post Clerkship Applications
Coming off district court and CoA clerkships. Was curious if anyone had an idea what the best writing samples would be for boutique/conventional big law lit firms (NYC) post clerkship. Do firms favor opinions/orders/bench memos etc.? Law school seminar papers?

currently working with a recruiter targeting biglaw and boutique firms.
He said any orders/opinions are fine as long as they show solid/legitimate analysis. Something between 8 - 12 pages.
My 2 cents.
