Re: Let's talk 6th Circuit!
Just recently shifted my focus to the Sixth... Looking for something for 2019. Is it safe to say the majority of the judges (non-feeders, at least) hire slightly behind the pace of other circuits?

Does anyone know if Gibbons is still hiring for 2018-19? Her posting is open on OSCAR, but its been up there for a really long time. I think she's hired some people, but not sure if she's full.

Same anon as above. No clue what the district court clerk situation was. I'm referring to a spot that was accepted after his nomination to the 6th.Anonymous User wrote:I believe two, as I thought he was full at the district level for 2019.Anonymous User wrote:At least one of his spots is taken.Anonymous User wrote:whats the word on thapar for 19-20?

Is it safe to assume that, if one has not been called for an interview, no interview will be forthcoming?Anonymous User wrote:Rogers has been moving on interviews. Does anyone know if Clay is hiring? And does anyone know what he's like to work for?

Isn't working nights and weekends typical of a good number of judges though?Anonymous User wrote:Oh wow. This is good to knowAnonymous User wrote:Working nights and weekends are a requirement.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know if Clay is hiring? And does anyone know what he's like to work for?

Re: Let's talk 6th Circuit!
It really depends. I know a number of feeder judges who's clerks go home at 5pm and don't work weekends. Of course there are busier times that require a little extra work, but Clay requires his clerks to be in the office as more of a typical NY BigLaw facetime policy (i.e. regardless of if there is work to be done or not).Anonymous User wrote:Isn't working nights and weekends typical of a good number of judges though?Anonymous User wrote:Oh wow.
