Post by bloopersuper2017 » Thu Apr 02, 2020 12:28 am

Basically what the title says. SA program at non-v100 firm completely cancelled. What happens to my post grad options? Should I even attempt OCI as a 3L? Where the fuck do I even start looking for this summer at this point? I never thought I’d be in this position yet here I am and I’m so lost

For this summer, apply immediately to any state or local govt agency you can think of that would be relevant to your ultimate desired practice. Consider approaching a prof you trust about doing research assistance this summer, either for credit or for pay through your school. Consider summer classes if you don't find full-time work. Other options, like applying for hourly work at smaller firms, will depend on what city you're in, what you want to do, etc. You could, for instance, get some bankruptcy experience this summer if you apply now to some firms that specialize in that.
