Yea, definitely joking. After you didn't respond with (haha, lol, etc.) in your first response, my reaction was: "oh shit, he may have thought I'm serious." I wanted to make some ludicrous response to the person listing the living arrangement due to believing the person is not a student, but just advertising as if she works there (her message comes off as something you would see on a listing's website). Ex:
The apartment has 12-foot ceilings, a porch, a full kitchen, and a living room. Photos and a floor-plan are available upon request.
Upon request? Wht...who says that?

Yawn, stretch. Any idea when we'll be hearing anything more from IU? Getting lonely.

I too have decided not to attend Bloomington. I'll be at Illinois in the fall. Hopefully for you guys attending IU-B we will be replaced with more girls! Best of luck to you, stlisforlovers and for all of you attending IU-B in the summer/fall

Hey all, summer starter here. Just joined the facebook group (well, I requested to anyway; fingers crossed). Oh man, I can't wait to be friends with all of you.

Apartment hunting is not fun at all, but maybe the agony of it will better prepare me for law school.

Hey all, just to pick up on housing, there is an admitted students page where you can advertise and look for housing this summer and fall:

--LinkRemoved--

Just click on "Housing Information" in the right-hand sidebar.

So I have yet to receive any sort of admissions information, such as this ID # people have been talking about. I emailed Dani and she told me that I was indeed registered for the fall class and for Summer Start, but have't heard anything back from them.

Anybody else in the same boat?

Ya I expected to get the packet with all the info in it by now. I really need to figure out my financial aid situation... Have any of the above defectors gotten stuff from their respective schools or is this normal? I'm a summer starter and move in less than a month, can't wait for new friends!

An email about summer financial aid for you summer starters was sent today. It also gives a breakdown of some expenses and when we should receive our actual financial aid awards with breakdown in loans for next year.

I completed my FAFSA like 3 months ago, then I got Mr. Leopold's email which inspired me to go back through my FAFSA and re-submit. My question is how are we supposed to know that it "worked" and we will be getting our financial aid $ when summer start/fall classes commence? I emailed him the same question and will post back with the response.

Where did you decide on for housing?

Also anyone going down early as far as summer starters? My S.O. is doing summer session at Indianapolis so I'll be there in Bloomington in a little over a week. Wouldn't mind hanging out with some fellow summer starters before class starts. Especially if they like the outdoors!

Just got an email from Ohio State offering a full ride plus stipend, a scholarship I applied for and was initially denied. I already signed a lease in Bloomington, but now don't know what to do!

Try to find someone to take it over for you in Bloomington. The forums would be a help. Where's the lease at and when does it start. You may find someone still looking or who hasn't signed if you have decided to attend Ohio.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
