Thanks for the chuckle. Anyone who attends this school because they could not get into a better school (and there are 100 better law schools) is unqualified to practice law.

Because that makes a lot of sense. Don't come to these forums crying and degrading Seton Hall, no one cares.

A fool and his money (i.e., student loans) are soon parted.

Pray that your dad hires you because outside of NJ, a JD from SHU law carries as much weight as a snowflake.

Edit: Corrected for Clintonius.

You all laugh at me now. My father went to Princeton and Harvard law and is currently a partner at his law firm. I look forward to some of you working for me in the future.

Always respect a man who rides in on his father's coattails. Why achieve when you can inherit? Especially when you're incapable of achieving.

Hmm, the apple fell and rolled miles away from the tree. I see now why SHU Law accepted you. If you had love for your dad, you wouldn't make him pay full sticker for your TTT JD. However, SHU Law alums often rely on legacy to get ahead in this world. Your dad may have great educational pedigree, but being a partner at a NJ firm is so TTT. Enjoy Newark.

lol oh ya his firm is third tier? I would say no since he is in big law and has offices all over the northeast. And I had the stats to get into Seton Hall so no I do not ride off his accomplishments. If I were to ride off his accomplishments I would be at Harvard.

[Redacted]
Report · 9:45am

"sorry, I can't make the meeting guys"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:45am

[Redacted]
Report · 9:46am
ok so is that good or bad
it seems we're on the fence
fundamentally, it's bad
but in the spirit of bernie, isn't it good?
[Redacted]
Report · 9:46am
I blame the government, there would be no valvoline dean if it weren't for them
[Redacted]
Report · 9:46am
"fuck my victims"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:46am
where there's a dollar to be made, there's a dollar to be made
[Redacted]
Report · 9:47am
right, if the gov didn't subsidize like, everything, valvoline dean couldn't exploit
[Redacted]
Report · 9:47am
he probably justifies it to himself by saying the students get a "First Class Legal education" or some such nonesense
[Redacted]
Report · 9:47am
yeah I wonder about that
does he even try to rationalize it? or does he think "heh heh suckers" once he's alone?
[Redacted]
Report · 9:49am
he prolly rationalizes it, and then labels the 85 % who can't find jobs as "losers"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:49am
haha yup
[Redacted]
Report · 9:50am
good ol' valvoline dean
[Redacted]
Report · 9:50am

[Redacted]
Report · 9:50am
yeah, and "networked" more
[Redacted]
Report · 9:51am
"I got where I am through good ol' hard work and determination"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:51am
haha, dazzrite!
pick yourself up by your bootstraps!
[Redacted]
Report · 9:51am
"you don't become dean of seton hall's prestigious law school by slipping thru the cracks"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:51am
yup
if anyone deserves earning 300k a year, it's the valvoline dean
[Redacted]
Report · 9:52am
damn right
he deserves every penny
you know he tries to influence the university board to increase his salary too
citing "the rigorous demands of being the dean of a prestigious law school"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:53am
haha yup
meanwhile...
"My life is in utter financial ruin thanks to the insatiable, shameless, boundless greed of human scum like the Valvoline Dean Pat Hobbs and his eggheaded Ivy league cronies"
[Redacted]
Report · 9:53am
we need more funding, and also, increase class sizes
pack em in like sardines in a crushed tin box
[Redacted]
Report · 9:53am
