Hi - anyone know anything about hiring at KKL? How hard is it to get hired, what are they looking for, and will they hire out of a clerkship? Any info on their hiring process?

They will hire out of a clerkship, and a clerkship is essentially required. They focus on associates who plan to go to USAO SDNY. The partners are very well-connected in the USAO world and hire via referrals, though I’m sure they’ve probably also hired via cold apps. They’ve have a lot of turnover recently because their associates keep getting hired by the USAO but I think the firm is generally meant to be around ten lawyers, so on the smaller side.

Referrals from whom? Current associates? AUSAs?
