Plaintiff Litigation Boutique/Midlaw
I'm a 7th year ex-biglaw litigator at a small plaintiff shop that primarily does class actions. I'm struggling to get information about the sophisticated firms that often operate on this side of the V. It seems like most resources (and recruiters) are far better plugged in with defense side opportunities.
I'd prefer to hear about plaintiff options with a DC presence, though I'm open to anything. By "sophisticated," I mean firms that often go toe to toe with biglaw in high-dollar disputes. I'm familiar with a bunch (Lieff Cabraser, Gupta Wessler, Cohen Milstein, plus the biglaw suspects like Boies or Susman) but please don't leave anything out about your knowledge or experience with them.
And for what it's worth, my base is around $200k and bonus potential ranges from $20k to $80k in a bad to great year. I'd love to hear about places that meet or exceed that, as well.

There's a directory on this website if you scroll down. It's a good resource.

Keller Postman has a pretty significant presence in DC and often works on the kinds of "sophisticated" matters you reference. PM me if interested.

In DC, Kellogg Hansen is as sophisticated as it gets. Like Boies and Susman, you'd be expected to do your defense work too, however.
