They did a resume collect after bidding was closed and PLIP sent out an email saying if you were selected through resume collect you’d be notified via emailAnonymous User wrote:I have a pre-select. What are the firms that are doing receptions on Wednesday night? I know a friend got Sidley invitation. Others?

Is Brown Rudnick doing what Choate did and just emailing people if they got an interview or not? Both still just say "applied" for me.

Re: 2018 PLIP
FYI: Brown Rudnick bailed on PLIP this year. They will not be doing interviews. If you are interested in them, apply via their website.

Individual firms will reach out to candidates whom they are interviewing. Do not feel slighted if firms have not reached out to you. This is not an indication of preference.Anonymous User wrote:Was there an email about this that I missed? What’s the etiquette for interviewing with a firm at both PLIP and OCI. Are we supposed to release the OCI preselect?

I had this issue and the application did not say “no duplicate interviews.” I called the firm and they asked me to cancel the OCI interview.Anonymous User wrote:What’s the etiquette for interviewing with a firm at both PLIP and OCI. Are we supposed to release the OCI preselect?

Re: 2018 PLIP
I know that some firms at my schools OCI will list in the directions that multiple interviews with the firm over the summer is banned. I think also it is good etiquette to only interview once for a firm, and would be a waste of time at OCI, imo.Anonymous User wrote:What’s the etiquette for interviewing with a firm at both PLIP and OCI. Went last year. Definitely do not show up for bowling in a suit.Anonymous User wrote:Finnegan on Thursday night... Full suit to go bowling or business casual?
I think smart casual is the right call for the bowling if my memory serves. Although you might be influenced by other events (I went straight from a Latham happy hour to Finnegan bowling last year).
I don't remember any of the actual attorneys wearing suits. I recall it as an opportunity to chill out and socialize. I didn't bowl at all, but ate and talked Game of Thrones with attorneys.
Disclaimer: I wasn't that interested in Finnegan so maybe I didn't take it seriously enough

Anyone know if screeners ask for reference list or is that more of a callback thing?

Do we just bring a resume to the hospitality suites?

I don't think you can officially. I think you just don't check in to those firms at Loyola, and then they give your spots to the alternates who are there that morning.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone know how to cancel interviews now after the deadline? Want to drop 2 but system won't allow me to.
