Re: NEW: Forum for Law School Graduates Only
My e-mail had my real name on my diploma and in my e-mail address, and one of them had my face in the picture as well (my diploma is currently taped up to a large framed mirror). But I'm already FB friends with numerous mods in the first place so I wasn't really concerned about what the mods/admins learned about me. Obviously I wouldn't want to be publicly outed, but that's a different situation and I'm not worried about the mods doing that.

My diploma is in storage, I planned to pull it out when I got licensed so I could get my license and diploma framed at the same time. I'll just submit my bar pass/fail stuff whenever they send it on or around October 11. Does that work? Ty ty for the forum.

So to clarify, only forumadmin will see this, and not all of the TLS mods?

Will join the shit out of this forum if/when I hear good results about the bar. Great idea and thanks to all who helped put it together.

I don't think you have to have passed the bar.

Re: NEW: Forum for Law School Graduates Only
So if I have the official email from the bar association that I passed, can I use that to get in? The name on it matches the name on my email address if that helps. My diploma is at my parents' house and I don't know if I'll get a bar card or not.

Can I just email a link to my firm bio? Ain't nobody got time to take/upload pictures when you're billing 12 hrs/day.

If you email it from your firm email listed in that bio, yes.Big Shrimpin wrote:Can I just email a link to my firm bio? Ain't nobody got time to take/upload pictures when you're billing 12 hrs/day.

Do shitboomers like myself with faded diplomas we can no longer find but with email addresses containing our firm name and used for our local, state, and federal bars need more?

Huh? Well if that's the case, looks like I won't be joining. My diploma is, I believe, at my patents' house. Or it may be lost. Who knows.Lincoln wrote:And give my firm my TLS username? Re: NEW: Forum for Law School Graduates Only
We aren't trying to out you to anybody; we just need something that shows you're either a law school graduate or a practicing lawyer. You could print a transcript showing you've been awarded the JD, write your username on it, take a couple of pics, and send those in as verification. Unfortunately if you just email a link to a firm bio from an unrelated email account, we have no way of knowing it's you.
(And when I say "we" I mean our kind forum administrator, who is the only one who sees the verification stuff.)

Re: NEW: Forum for Law School Graduates Only
+1 to what nony said. Nor are we requiring you to do something that could potentially give your firm access to your username as there are plenty of options that don't require that.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
