K&L very quickly matched the last one right? I doubt that they will match but I have to think it makes DWT's low number even more pressurized.Anonymous User wrote:I heard rumors that a perkins raise is coming. Any idea which firms will match?

Well the issue is thet K&L already raised other offices and left some markets (including Seattle) untouched. Will they go back and raise Seattle? Maybe, but it's not clear that it'll happen particularly soon.

I've been told Dorsey will make all their hiring decisions today or tomorrow, has anyone heard back yet? Or even just anyone with a CB who heard differently?

I wouldn't automatically assume you're out. A good chunk of time passed between my CB and the offer.

Truth is fine I suppose. How much time passed for you? Either way, congrats on the offer!Anonymous User wrote:...would you prefer the truth or a lie?Anonymous User wrote:Haha, my CB was Thursday so I'm just going to pretend the offer went out Tuesday or Wednesday and there's still hope.Anonymous User wrote:Yes. My DLA interviewer said they were only planning to take one SA (for litigation) next summer and that they were in no rush to adhere to the normal timeline either.Anonymous User wrote:anyone with news on DWT or DLA?
Haven't heard anything about DWT, but I did get a post-screener email ding earlier this week.

It depends. If you haven't heard back after your screeners by now it's probably over. If you've had callbacks then there is still hope. Previous years have had offers coming as late as October.Anonymous User wrote:should we just assume the worst at this point if we havent heard back? lol

It has been 3 weeks since I finished my last of 4 callbacks and I still have no offers. To next year's class: I would strongly recommend mass mailing NY in July/August so that you don't end up like me.

Re: Lets Talk Seattle...
For what it is worth, and I hate being the optimistic person, but I was about to accept an offer for a NY firm I didn't really want after striking out on the west coast and out of nowhere got a response to mass mail that led to an offer with a few days for a California firm. Don't give up hope.Anonymous User wrote:It depends. If you haven't heard back after your screeners by now it's probably over. If you've had callbacks then there is still hope.
