Callback last week of September and waiting to hear back. I'm not sure if they've reached out to my references yet.

Callback September 15th and ding email exactly 4 weeks later. I had a really good experience in the first round, but just didn’t vibe with one of the panelists. Screener was with an appeals attorney, and the panel was two senior attorneys in the torts division, so it’s pretty much luck of the draw who you get. Be prepared to talk to anyone from any division. Panel makes the hiring recommendation, and the third round is with Stuart Smith, the hiring director. I don’t think they ding from the third round. If they don’t call your references within a week, you probably didn’t get hired.

Jumping on this, I have a summer offer from them (in what I think is generally considered one of the more prestigious divisions) and from biglaw. Trying to suss out if I could do 3 years at the law department and then go federal government if I'd like to.

Has anyone heard back from the nyc law dept for their summer program? I did 3 rounds through OCI like 2 months ago and all they said was we'll send out updates in the following weeks. LOL Wondering if anyone is in the same boat
