Berkeley vs. Virginia vs. Cornell

Post by mallen210 » Mon Mar 30, 2009 1:17 am

I would really appreciate your input...

Wants:
-to practice entertainment and/or intellectual property law
-biglaw
-nat'l employment prospects
-to practice in CA (if not, in NYC)
-nice weather
-be in a city (if not, on a big campus)
-as much nat'l prestige in the name as possible

*Virginia = in-state tuition

Berkeley may seem obvious but is it worth turning down in-state tuition & low cost of living???

What kind of money are you getting from each school.

Also with the state schools, in-state tuition shouldn't factor as much into the decision, as CA residence is pretty easy to obtain after 1L.
