Pitt Public Interest Scholarship?

Post by faraway » Sun Jan 25, 2009 3:53 pm

I was recently accepted to Pitt, and am interested in applying for their Public Interest Scholarship. According to the school's website and papers in the Acceptance packet the deadline for this application is Feb. 1. However, I have written to the school, scoured the website and sent the admissions office an email, but I still cannot obtain any additional information about the application. Just FYI, I checked the appropriate, "yes, I am interested in the Public Interest scholarship" box on my application to Pitt.

I live abroad so I have a delay in receiving my mail. I am worried that the information is lost in the mail or on its way in the mail and will arrive after the deadline is already passed.

Anyone have any insight?

I finally got the email with the scholarship application attached. It states that they're extending the deadline (for your application to be post-marked) to Feb. 5th.
