Could it be 2026 before admissions go test optional?

Post by lawschoolsplit2023 » Sun Mar 10, 2024 2:31 pm

There was hype in 2022 about making ls admissions test optional (barring lsat or gre) in 2025. It appeared it was voted against in 2023, but then there was rumor they would try to further pass it but no update since 2023. but believe I read if it ever went through it may not be until 2026 now.

Does it still seem 2025 fall admissions still won’t be test optional?

Please stop asking the same question over and over again and just go apply to law school already.

OP: You clearly are feeling anxiety about the admissions process. Channel this anxiety into studying for the LSAT instead of posting on TLS. Tons of people assume that they're good test takers so they'll get a 175+, but the truth is that 99% of test takers fail to achieve this. So, you're better off focusing on that because that's one thing you can still control at this point, assuming you haven't already taken the LSAT.
