Cornell Early Decision?

Post by 052220151 » Wed Jul 10, 2013 6:52 pm

I was tinkering around on LSAC and clicked on the applications button for Cornell, they have a Application 'coming soon' on 8/15/13 for Fall 2014 - Early Decision Round 1.

I can't find anything else online. Does anyone know if Cornell is moving away from their EA app and to ED?

I don't know, but with a deadline of November 1st, it sure looks like it.

They may still keep calling everything before the November 1st "EA" though.

I would have been interested in going to Cornell if it wasn't for Andy

My bro told me if I go to Cornell, he will call me Narddawg for the rest of my life.

It's amazing how one TV show can shit on the rep of a supposedly decent institution.

Their EA was due Nov 1, I believe. I don't know if that is relevant.

For what it's worth, I go to Cornell and I have not been called Narddawg by anyone.

Is this wording any different than what's been offered previously? Has the EA application been called "Early Decision" by the LSAC before?...

No. I applied this past cycle and it was just a regular application. Then in the app it asks if you're applying EA--which really didn't matter because even people who clicked "no" were automatically put in the EA pile if they submitted before Nov. 1st.

This whole "early decision: round one" specific app is new.
