Yeah I applied back in October with a 168/3.4 and was accepted in December. I got a full ride offer in March I think?
Calvin, I visited over my spring break in March. A lot of people recommended mission valley to me. I stayed in a hotel there and my girlfriend and I loved the area...it's very close to everything and not real expensive. I don't know what price range you are looking at but downtown is also super nice but more expensive as well. I know the beach area, pacific beach and mission beach, is supposed to be fun but from what I've heard it has higher crime rates.

Congrats to you guys on picking America's Finest City to come to school. I dont go there, well not yet, still gotta finish my last UG semester this fall. But I have lived in SD all my life and know everywhere and anything there is in this awesome city. So if anyone needs help with anything or any pointers let me know, ill be glad to help.

I'm not a USD student, but I do live in San Diego.
Mission Valley and along Friars is nice but a little homogeneous. Mission Hills, Hillcrest, North Park, and University Heights warrant a look if you don't mind being a ways from campus.
