I do not have an appealing undergraduate GPA, only 3.68, my graduate degree GPA is 3.5, and then my Ph.D. degree GPA (a good state public university)is 3.89. I major in literature and speak three languages with native fluency plus intermediate German and Japanese. I have not taken LSAT, given my reading competence, I am aiming for 170+ with half a year's solid preparation. What are my chances to get into T14? Thank you very much.

If you get a 170+, very good. If you don't, probably not as good.

Ask again when you have an LSAT score.

The LSAT score is so central to the application process its impossible to give any sort of probability without one. If you get into the high 160s, you will probably get into at least one T14. If you get in the low 170s, you will probably get money from at least one. If you get into the high 170s, you will have a good shot at all but Yale and Stanford. Your 3.68 undergrad GPA is the only one that really matters.

It’s UGPA that counts, but if your LSAT is a 170, it’s nearly 100 percent you’d crack the t-14.
