In at Chi. 20%-30% Columbia--100% if ED. In at NYU. Outside shot at S and H. Your softs aren't strong unless that scholarship is a Rhodes or something.

Thanks for responding. What do you base your judgement on? Thanks again

The judgment of your soft is just based on a history of seeing what most consider to be strong softs on this forum and the average caliber of softs my classmates have.

I think Rhodes and Marshall are strong softs, as well as work experience at bulge bracket investment banks or MBB consulting firms.
You might get into NYU but you should be SOL for CC.

OP is a near shoe in for Chicago (I'll concede nearly no chance at Columbia). Chicago accepts most students with a 3.9 or higher if they have at least a 166. That's how they maintain their high GPA median. With a 169 OP is pretty safe for Chicago with probably their nominal 5k per year scholarshipWild Card wrote:I think Rhodes and Marshall are strong softs, as well as work experience at bulge bracket investment banks or MBB consulting firms.
