3.1 160 URM $$$?

Post by CourtnieCrutchfield » Sat Jan 20, 2018 5:02 pm

Hi! I'm a grad from a lower Ivy, only got a 3.11 (personal event affected my starting grades) with an upward trend. 160 LSAT score, PR/AA female. Do I have any chance of getting into any of these schools with money? School list is as follows

UMich
Cornell
Columbia
Penn
NYU
Seton Hall
Rutgers
Cardozo
Brooklyn Law

I'm not sure how to embed the results but the sample size is small so I'm not sure how much you can base your chances on them.

TLSers are going to tell you a few more points on the LST will improve your chances and $$$ and similarly ask you about your career goals to give you better advice about what schools and at what cost will best help you reach your goals.

Thanks for that! It was helpful. I'm hoping to stay within commuting distance from North Jersey but would go farther for a good enough school with enough money. Hoping to go to a mid-sized firm for family law but that specifics of the plan could change with more exposure. Of course I wouldn't turn down big law. But my biggest concern is money and job market success.
