Latino 167, 3.67 GPA
Top 5 undergrad
Non-Mexican/PR Latino (the guidance seems to be non-URM here, but everyone else seems to think it's still a boost?)
I'd like to think my PS is unique - happy to PM
Fluency in two other languages
2 years as prosecution paralegal postgrad
Applied across the board
Thanks!

Re: Latino 167, 3.67 GPA
As a non-Mexican/PR Latino I may have seen a small "boost" thus far, but nothing that makes me unbelievably outperform my numbers

Re: Latino 167, 3.67 GPA
See that confuses me. I think schools count all latinos in advertising materials that show percentages; those numbers are abysmal, particularly for males.
Oh and sorry, I was reaching for Columbia/NYU, got into Gtown already

I think mylsn has a lot of skews when it comes to minorities which makes it rather unreliable... as an anecdote my friend has a 168, 3.5 and got into up into nyu and ended up at Berkeley with a 40k a year scholly, I would look at URM cycle results which has a lot more info, esp with scholly info too, I think you’re a lock up to Berkeley/Michigan with at least some money

Also I think the difference between MA/PR and not seem negligible, you don’t need to reference which type of Latino you are in your statements just that you’re Hispanic which is more than enough for you to be a URM and then to count you as Hispanics on ABA datasheets
