AA 3.2 160, Feb retake?
So I got my Dec score back and it was a 160. Went -0 in RC and -6 in LG (all on the last game, need to get my timing faster), and then LR was a mess. My GPA is low due to health reasons, so I'm writing an addendum. Don't know where I stand in terms of applications, not a ton of data out there. Was planning on blanketing the T20, except HYS. But I was also wondering what the likelihood is that I would be WL and then if retaking in Feb would help my apps if I were WL

You should obviously retake. Getting any wrong on games is completely fixable. Just doing that gets you a 165/66 which is a huge difference from a 160. I would recommend retaking and if your cycle doesn't work out, just apply again the next.

Anyone know if I were to apply to the T20 now, is it likely that I would get WL or dinged?

According to the numbers and past admissions trends with URM, its not looking too good. Maybe WashUStL??
If you had say a 3.8 and a 160 as AA then yeah sure some will bite. Alternatively a 3.2 and a 170. I think retaking is the best option for cracking the T20 (and honestly u should aim for the T-13 )

You could basically walk in CUNY Law School in NYC with those numbers, but if you feel that you can do better then by all means retake.chilover691 wrote:If I applied now, any advice on schools? Definitely going to retake in Feb though!sparkytrainer wrote:

The OP can do better than CUNY without retaking, but they should retake. And maybe stop suggesting niche schools like CUNY if the OP doesn't say anything to indicate that it's an option for them.L_William_W wrote:You could basically walk in CUNY Law School in NYC with those numbers, but if you feel that you can do better then by all means retake.chilover691 wrote:If I applied now, any advice on schools? Any advice on applying now but registered for Feb? Also I'm not opposed to NYC but I'd prefer to be in Chicago after graduating. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of "regional" schools for Chicago, other than UIUC.cavalier1138 wrote:The OP can do better than CUNY without retaking, but they should retake.
