3.4/162- Tri-State area schools? Forum

I have a 3.4 GPA and a 162 LSAT.

What schools should I look at in the Tri-State area?

It depends on which state since all the schools in your range are somewhat hyper regional. Even though Rutgers is only 10 miles outside of Manhattan in Newark, its an uphill climb to get a job across the Hudson. If you want NJ, look at Rutgers and Seton Hall. Connecticut, UConn. New York, shoot for Cardozo. They seem to be the least shitty in terms of scholarship retention at that level.

I would add that UConn's campus is pretty far from what most people consider the NYC tri-state. Hartford is a whole other universe. It's not obvious how easy it would be to go UConn Law>Fairfield County without connections or an Ivy-League bachelor's degree.
