Your LSAT history might hurt you, but your 3.5 GPA will hurt you more. Unless you're a URM, you basically have no chance.

Again, the problem is the gpa, not your Lsat whether it's a 175 or 180. Either case you aren't getting in

I waited for far too long to go to law school. If I get in Harvard, that would really pay off my efforts.
Slightly better? Probably. But not enough to justify it. Your GPA is the problem, not your LSAT. It's well below HLS' GPA floor for non-urms. If you have some amazing soft or story, maybe you have a slim chance. But if you did, I doubt youd be asking us. But you have a real shot at Columbia and NYU. Those are great schools. And might as well apply to HLS.

I think it's definitely worth an an application to Harvard, and you are likely to get some good offers throughout the T-14. So it's not like you should feel bummed out. It's a good place to be.

A 175 already puts you at Harvard's 75th percentile, so I don't think it's worth a retake just for a shot at squeezing out a couple more points. Like others have said, the GPA is the bigger hurdle at this point. I do think it's probably worth including some kind of explanation for those scores in the 140s though.

And this is just kind of an irrelevant pet peeve, but I prefer "top public university" to "public ivy."

With total test history being absent, absent, cancel, 149, 143, 175+! Are you a preliminary candidate for neural link's brain interface mesh? Such a score considering the history is incredible, in the true sense of the word.

Also, you have previously applied according to your post history? Did you apply with a 143? And which is the middle score, 148 or 149, you have two conflicting scores in your title and content of your post. This is all making me thinking possible troll.

It's worth the app fee, at least. I know a couple people (non-URM) here with similar numbers. They have pretty impressive softs though.

With that score jump, I would be prepared to give answers as to why there is such a disparity in the scores. Yes schools care about that 175+ score, but for the purposes of interviews (for those schools that do, i.e. HLS) don't be surprised to get asked about it. I'm not saying they are going to think you cheated, I'm sure LSAC went neurotic over your file in that regard, but just have a good answer as to how/why you went from absences, cancels, and 14x to 175+.

I only know one other person who had a jump like yours and they were repeatedly asked about it. Super crappy sample size of course, but might as well prepare. :)

Best of luck, and yes, send apps all around if you have the funds to do so. :)
