I was under the impression that NU's ED was only realistic for applicants well above both medians. At least that's what I was advised when I posted about it recently, and I've got similar numbers (3.1/172).

Depends upon how important the scholarship is to you as to whether or not to ED NU.

If not, then no harm. But with work experience & a high LSAT might do the trick.

I think you're right to apply ccn on down. I would also apply to usc and wustl, as they might throw a fair bit of cash at that lsat, which can potentially be valuable in negotiations with schools you would more seriously consider. Do not ed anywhere that does not give a full scholly, but it's probably not worth your time to apply ed somewhere that does, as your gpa will not make that a realistic outcome.

ED NU. It's your best ED option, even though not guaranteed. Otherwise, you'll waste an opportunity to ED to a T-14 for significant money.

Absolutely do not do this. I suppose I can see where you would get this idea, but the correct route is always to apply as soon as you're possibly ready.

good shot at nu. good shot at wustl with $$/$$$
gulc is on the bubble
small chance at uva, penn (penn probably happens only with ed)
no real shot at ccn. for non-urms with 3.0 (or even slightly above) it's basically auto-reject regardless of lsat

there's zero chance of nu giving $150k to an app with ugpa 0.56 below median
so this won't change ur cycle except for wasting an ed that may have actually worked at some other t14
(but since sticker is usually a terrible idea, it's actually better for you to go ahead and waste it and remove the very real temptation most heavy splitters have to ed somewhere that locks them into $300k debt, so i'm all for this idea, ed as a prophylactic measure)

You're almost guaranteed $150k+ at WUSTL, but you might have to negotiate a little for it.
