Re: ITT We Assess My Shot (if any) At Harvard
Decent shot imo.
I withdrew early on from the waitlist there and am also quite sure that I hurt my own chances by expressing my unwillingness to attend on TLS when my numbers made me very easily identifiable.

we're basically numbers twins (our gpa is exactly the same actually), so them putting you on the waitlist was depressing.

im no expert but since its an open discussion I think you have a solid chance as long as ur app is good...I think those numbers are sufficient though.

Ehh... if you make a more earnest effort than I did I'm sure you'll fare better. For one thing, both your numbers are higher.talibkweli wrote:Kohinoor wrote:Decent shot imo

You have as good a shot as anyone. I think they historically take longer admitting URM. But AA with a 174 is at the very least a strong consider for them. Good luck!

also, i read somewhere on here that there are so few AA's scoring over 170 that they get picked up by HYS pretty easily

I think you have a good chance TK. Definitely at least worth the application. Congrats on the new score, even if it still wasn't quite where you wanted.

LOL as soon as I saw the title thread I knew it was you. You already applied right? Don't stress man, once you've applied it's out of your hands. Just wait it out and see. Worst case scenario is you (probably) get a full ride from one of MBVP.

I don't think anyone has any new info for you, dude. Best we can tell you is you have a chance, you'll just have to wait to find out what happens.talibkweli wrote:new years eve bump

Re: ITT We Assess My Shot (if any) At Harvard
Do we know if they strictly average LSAT scores or if they lend more credence to the higher one? I am asking as someone with a 170 retook into 178 - does this mean harvard will read this as a 174, and in Talib's case a 172?

Black, 172+, should be a pretty good bet for a lot of top schools, if not Harvard.
