Michigan and Cornell definitely at the top of this one. For how nice the overall campus is I was disappointed by Duke's law school aesthetically

I felt the same about Duke. There is something off about it, like they are trying hard to look old school? Plus there is so much construction going on there right now if you have been there recently. That might be why I didn't like it aesthetically!BillClinton Jr wrote:Michigan and Cornell definitely at the top of this one. Definitely. I think the only major upsides were the big windows in the commons/library and all the trees around campus overall. But yeah it just doesn't give off the law school/top school/old vibe at all.gator_guy93 wrote:I felt the same about Duke. I have to say Cornell looked amazing when I visited last fall.
Aside from that I've seen H, Y, and NYU and Columbia. All seemed really nice, but Cornell stood out as being "beautiful" Yale was very, very nice. I would not say beautiful, but it certainly looks like the quintessential ivory tower law school. I really want to see Michigan now, those pictures you guys posted made it seem pretty amazing. Love the architecture.

H is ugly af. I went in expecting something like the ug campus and was vastly disappointed to find out that there are three fairly nice law buildings and ten extremely ugly ones. The ug campus is gorgeous tho.zeglo wrote:Michigan, Yale, Harvard, Cornell

I'm not gonna argue that it's the "most beautiful law campus", but I really like the way the law building looks at Duke.BillClinton Jr wrote:Definitely. I visited a bunch in the last few months (Michigan, UVA, Duke, Northwestern, Georgetown) and have to say Michigan Law School is beautiful. I think Charlottesville and the surrounding area is much more beautiful than Ann Arbor, but if we are talking about the actual law school and its campus Michigan takes the cake.

UChicago best of both worlds (great Gothic campus, great city)

The main Chicago campus is Gothic, but the law school itself is Modern. Interestingly, it was designed by Eero Saarinen, who grew up in Michigan and designed a number of buildings throughout the state (including the University of Michigan School of Music building).Roundhill wrote:UChicago best of both worlds (great Gothic campus, great city)

Michigan. People come from all over the place to get their wedding photos taken in the quad...I'm not talking about alums lol. There also appears to be professional modeling shoots going on frequently.
