Travel Stipends for Cali Schools
I'm on the east coast and hoping to check out some of the California law schools. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about securing some travel stipends from schools there? Pepperdine offered me $400 but only if I matriculate (any chance at getting the stipulation removed?). It'd be nice to get a few other stipends to offset the cost of the trip. Would it be worth throwing in a couple apps at lower ranked schools (Case Western, USD, etc.) just to try for a stipend to visit? If I'm on the waitlist at a school, will they consider giving me a stipen...or are those only given to admitted students? Any advice is appreciated..

I honestly don't see this happening unless you're like, the best applicant ever.

UCI offers a $300-500 stipend with no matriculation requirement
