probably. make sure you meet with admissions deans if you visit (they should be easy to hook up with for a few minutes at least)

i should qualify: helps if you're on the waitlist already

If you're writing a Why X essay, mentioning your experience visiting the school could only help. If you can remember specific names or an anecdote about it, a school that otherwise may YP you could let you in.
