Admitted Students Weekends?

Post by southernbelle87 » Sun Nov 24, 2013 10:43 am

Seeing as acceptances are starting to trickle in...
When should we know the dates for admitted students weekends?
If I've already been accepted to a school that I can visit easily, should I go ahead or just wait for ASW?

1. Depends on the school. I think you will know pretty soon, seeing as it is only a few more months until admitted students weekends.
2. Depends, there are pros and cons. The pros are that you get to see what the law school is like without the ASW spin to it. The cons are that you probably won't have as much programs as you will at ASW, where they typically will have faculty speakers, etc. If you go now, you will probably only be able to sit in on a class, or maybe speak to a professor. Plus you can also meet the other admitted students. I would personally wait until ASW, unless that school that you can visit easily is your top choice. You might get into a school you really want later and thus never have the need to visit the close school.
