Which question did everyone choose for the optional essay?

I did the Top 10 List!

I did "Describe your most interesting mistake". Received my acceptance letter on Friday!

checking in! submitted 10/16, complete 10/17.. so anxious, GULC is my #1 by and far

Did you interview? Also, was the acceptance through snail mail?

Did my optional essay on my "most interesting mistake." Applied 9/25, group interview two weeks later, and got accepted a week and a half later. Acceptances (only?) come in the mail in a small envelope.

Submitted 9/24, complete 9/27, received acceptance letter by snail mail (small envelope w/ handwritten note from the Dean) on 10/19, postmarked 10/16. No interview.

Thanks! I got the interview email 10/5, and the interview was for the next week. And RD

How long did it take for your application to go from received to complete? I didn't realize that the 4 week mark started from when your application was marked complete and am now frantically trying to figure out when I should expect a response. I also applied ED (application was received on October 5th and haven't heard back yet.

Just opened my acceptance letter! Applied 10/8, interviewed 10/16.

It only took mine a day to move to complete! Once it says complete the status checker won’t change again.

The letter was dated 10/29 and I received it 11/1. I live in the DC area so I'm sure I received I was one of the first from the 10/29 batch.

Complete on 10/14. No interview. Does only acceptance come in snail mail. Afraid to utter the R word, if anyone got it, is it by email or snail mail. My nerves are frayed to say the least. Thanks.

Just got my letter! I went complete on 10/3 and interviewed on 10/18. It was postmarked 10/30.

For those of you who have been admitted, did anything in your application status checker change?

My requirements list now includes "Official Final Undergraduate Transcript" and "certification form." Current status has said "application completed" for almost three weeks now..

Congrats everyone! Quick question: did your acceptance letters say anything about scholarships/merit aid?

I received my acceptance letter last Thursday and my status checker still says "completed" with nothing in the mailings category.

It did not. From last year's thread, it seems like they make scholarship offers later (January/February) and negotiations proceed from there.

It sounds like you are accepted; you should inquire in case it got lost in the mail.
