Anyone else getting:

"Temporarily Unavailable
The website that you're trying to reach is having technical difficulties and is currently unavailable.

We are aware of the issue and are working hard to fix it. Thank you for your patience."

when they check their application status?

Checking in! Status checker is back up and running; however, it is useless once your app goes complete.

RD, got an interview today. Median LSAT and >75th GPA. Thoughts on whether this makes me borderline? Didn't think I was

Can you please share or IM your interview experience?
Who is the interviewer? What questions were asked? And how long did the interview last?
And when did you apply/go complete?
Thanks

Is there a number higher than 100%? If so, that.

I've heard this a lot, but can any people who've been through the process confirm this? I'm admittedly applying next cycle, but am considering applying ED with an International Superior Classification and a ~173 LSAT

Students who don't attend an American Undergraduate institution send their transcripts to be evaluated by LSAC, where we receive a rating from Below Average to Superior. This classification isn't reportable for Median purposes, but rather indicates the student's ability relative to their classmates.

I'm worried about Columbia dinging international students since they can only have an impact on the median LSAT, and not the GPA, given how numbers oriented they are.

Does anybody know if Columbia ever offers named scholarships (Hamiltons/Butlers) without interviews?

According to PowerScore's analysis back in fall 2016, Columbia doesn't give ED applicants any boost. See https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/applyi ... -not-to-ed
ernietakeslsac wrote:Does anybody know if Columbia ever offers named scholarships (Hamiltons/Butlers) without interviews?
It's possible. As the law school's admissions office writes, "we are only interviewing a small number of candidates relative to the size of our applicant pool. In no way does an interview invitation imply or guarantee admission. Similarly, a favorable decision may be rendered even if you are not invited to interview." See https://www.law.columbia.edu/admissions ... 20Selected

Hamilton awardees are generally students who are likely to be Y/S admits (incredible numbers, incredible softs, and preferably both). Butlers generally have slightly lower (though still very high) numbers.
CLS2020 wrote:Does Columbia adjust for grade inflation and deflation from a certain school?
In general, as at any law school, GPA is GPA. There will be a slight boost around the edges for candidates from HYP and similarly elite colleges (think MIT, Stanford, etc.), but this doesn't correlate with grade inflation/deflation practices (e.g., HY get a boost even though neither deflates, unlike Princeton).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
