I'll be sending my application in within the next few days, Miami is my first choice. How long did it take you to get your acceptance? Please let me know when (or if) you get scholarship information, I've heard that they generally send it a few days after acceptance.

What were your application numbers like? How long did it take to receive a decision?

It took about 3 days from going complete to get a decision then another 5 for a scholarship to post. I'm not sure if what I see is the total amount or if it's what I get per year. That would make a huge difference. I'm just above the medians in everything but have gotten much more scholarship money from other schools with similar rankings but better medians (last cycle with worse credentials).

Thanks Joey, good to know. I'm a really huge splitter (2.67/175) hoping for a significant scholarship. Please let us know if the scholarship info is yearly or if it's a total once you find out.

Did anyone who was accepted have any C&F addendums? I had some very minor ones that I chose to disclose to err on the of caution (a verbal warning from a dorm hall director about alcohol and what was essentially a noise violation ticket for a party thrown at a house I was renting), but I'm worried that will slow down the processing of my application (since I've seen people on LSN have that happen to them).

So I found out the scholarship is yearly. It amounts to essentially a half ride. Not exactly where I want to be but them again I'm latino so that doesn't help me out nearly as much in South Florida. I'll negotiate and see what happens. I'm curious as to who they consider a peer institution for negotiation. Like would FIU help me at all or would I have to get money from UF or FSU to get them to match. Idk.

How did you first get your scholarship info? Status tracker or call?

Accepted. $20k/year scholly. Not too excited about it. Waiting to hear from Nova and FIU.

Heard back the next day. A week later, got scholly notification of $20k per year which is not much.

Admitted with $36k/year. Definitely makes Miami a contender. I want to open my own practice so I am more concerned with debt over prestige. Had old C&F issues related to drugs/alcohol. I have heard they make unsolicited scholarship increases so waiting it out to see if I can get a full ride.
