^ That's a shame considering Loyola Chicago costs 273,016, yet only 56.7% of its grads manage to find full-time legal work.

It could also be possible that they realized they were offering too much money to people who didn't end up attending and will maybe be willing to negotiate this year. Probably just wishful thinking though

They're not willing to negotiate. I asked. They said they weren't. I'm withdrawing my app this week since Kent offered me a full ride and their employment statistics are similar. Not going into major debt for that.

I am guessing they feel more confident about their yield now that law school applications have increased. I can't believe people are really going to law school because they don't like Trump and his policies. That's some real short-term thinking, considering he's going to be out in 2-6 years...

How/what is the curve? Are weekend students graded on the same curve? The attrition rate looks pretty low; does that mean that pretty much everyone passes?

I'm not sure how harsh the curve is or what the deal is with weekend students (the program is too new). I believe the other part-time students had their first year grades separate and then were integrated into the class by graduation. Everyone who tries passes and scholarships are based on good-standing, so I don't know anyone who failed out or lost a scholarship.

Accepted to the weekend program this afternoon w/ a significant scholarship (won't have to take out loans). I am so excited and will almost certainly be attending! Will anyone else on here be doing the weekend program?

Would like to hear some of your thoughts on Loyola itself and what your feelings are on its ability to place you in quality jobs....
I'd say if you're from Chicago and want to stay here it's a decent choice. I'd rank the Chicago schools as UChicago, Northwestern, Chicago-Kent, Loyola, DePaul, and John Marshall.
Loyola is ranked higher than Kent
