Just accepted via status checker. When did everyone get scholarship info relative to the status checker posting?

Mine does too, but then at the bottom there’s a place for the deposit

Same. I wouldn't say you're accepted before you get a formal letter.

My application went into the queue for review on 12/7....and still haven't heard anything...seems like its taking longer than most -- probably not a good sign.

Hey has anyone tried negotiating with them? My scholarship email didn't come with a form to fill out or anything

My application status check changed from "in the queue for review" to "Your application, including all required documents, has been received and your file is ready to be submitted for review" -- anyone else have this happen? Good sign of a decision soon?

Did anybody go to the first open house that wants to give an opinion?

Wake Forest was the first admitted students day I attended and it was by far the most impressive in my opinion. Since then I have gone to a few more admitted student days at similarly ranked schools and none of them really gave off as good of an impression as Wake did for me. The day was very organized and we were on a pretty tight schedule but that didn't take away from seeing how the students interacted with each other and the professors/deans in such a positive way. While I know schools put their best foot forward on preview day, it all seemed very genuine at Wake, where as you could generally see right through the front other schools put up. Nothing but positive things to say about admitted students day and the entire admissions process. I will most likely be attending Wake Law come fall.

Hope this helps!
